The Australian National University has joined the criticism of the newly launched My University website.
The site aims to help potential students to make informed choices, but the body representing Australian Universities has warned students and their parents not to rely on the website.
The ANU’s deputy Vice-Chancellor Marnie Hughes-Warrington doesn’t like the way the site has been designed.
“If you look at the My School’s website it has got a very visually appealing interface and you can search for the information really fantastically well. The My University website is very text heavy and the statistics are presented in a way that is probably not as, I think, visually intuitive as it might be”.
